SEEING FORWARD

SEEING Forward is the Dodgeville Secondary Alternative Education Program. Like a road map, many paths exist to get from a beginning to a destination. Sometimes students need a fresh start which they get by walking through the door to SEEING Forward. Students are able to personalize a learning experience to ensure college, career, and life goals are met.

Derived from the DHS school song that proclaims “Forward our Motto Never Turning Back,” the following are characteristics desired for all of SEEING Forward students:

Social – utilizing restorative practices to address relationships
Emotional- engaging in a deeper understandings of one’s self
Educational – focusing on college, career, and life readiness skills
Individualized – developing and reviewing a detailed academic and career plan
Nurturing – holistic in mind, body, and community
Graduation
