FAMILY COMMUNICATION SYSTEM: SCHOOLMESSENGER

The Dodgeville School District utilizes a service, called SchoolMessenger that enables the district to automatically notify all district parents/guardians and staff of desired messages, such as an emergency (closing due to inclement weather or a school lockdown) or for important upcoming events or information. Individual schools may also choose to use this service from time to time to communicate their specific school information. District-wide messages relating to weather and/or emergency information will also be posted on the district website and Facebook page and communicated though traditional broadcasts via local radio and television stations. Families do not need to sign up for a SchoolMessenger account, this system syncs with Infinite Campus and automatically pulls your contact information directly from the Parent Portal into SchoolMessenger. Therefore, it is essential that you have signed up for a Parent Portal account and that all the information in your account is up-to-date. 

Each parent/guardian can make sure their contact information is current in their Parent Portal account by following these directions: 

- Go to the Dodgeville School District’s home page and click on the ‘STUDENTS & FAMILIES’ tab at the top of the page.

- Click on the ‘Infinite Campus Parent Portal’ link.

- Enter your Infinite Campus username and password and login. If you are having trouble remembering your username and/or password, please click on the ‘forgot username?’ or ‘ forgot password?’ links.

- On the left-hand side of Infinite Campus, click on the ‘Family Members’ button, located under the ‘Family’ tab.

-  Within that tab, you should be able to update email addresses and phone numbers.
