Meetings

Ladies in Tune meet every Tu/Th from 710-745 am in the Vocal Music Room.

Rocket Club meets every Wednesday after school in A10 STEAM Room.

Saturday 1000am - Sectional Wrestling @ Evansville (Weigh-ins @ 830)



Baseball Sign-up in the Main Office - all interested should come sign up to find out about Open Gyms.


Girls interested in going out for Soccer should stop in the office and sign up on the clipboard in the spinner!


Athletic Trainer Hours 

(students will have prior approval/pass from Donnie to come down during school hours)

Spring Play Announcements:

Monday - 2/24: 6:30-9:00pm DHS Stage (Thursday - Saturday night team)

Tuesday - 2/25: Waiting for final confirmation of start time, most likely 7:30-9:30pm (Fri-Sat matinee team)

Thursday - 2/27: 6:00-9:00pm (teams TBD)


Student Announcements:

DHS is hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday, Mar 4th, from 11-4, in the DHS Library. If you are 16 years or older, please consider donating blood.  Not only do we help the Red Cross but Red Cross helps students at DHS. Money is earned for scholarships for pints collected.  To schedule an appointment you can (1) sign up with a key club member during your lunch on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, (Feb 25-27) (2) go to the American Red Cross website and make an appointment online, or (3) Call 1-800-RED-CROSS to schedule an appointment or (4) stop by room F14 and talk with Mrs. Kulcinski.  Remember - if you donate or work during school hours you must have teacher permission.  Teacher Permission slips are due back to Mrs. Kulcinski by the end of the day on Monday, March 2nd.

Juniors - Reminder that your class is hosting a “Family Night In” this Saturday from 6-8pm here at DHS.  This is your big Prom Fundraiser, please sign up to bring treats and to work. Sign ups are posted in Google Classroom and as many people as possible should come to help. We will set up at 4pm. Still looking for some parents to help too. Contact Mrs. Humke if you have a parent willing to help.

Reminder that Save the Rainforest club is running a collection of canned foods, clothes, blankets and pet beds this week to support groups helping out with the Australian bushfires.  Please drop donations into the box by the office.  You can bring monetary donations to Mrs. Roh-Wasley (D-5).

Interested in a career in Auto Mechanics or Auto Technician?

Hallada Dealership in Dodgeville has a partnership with Southwest Technical College to offer two courses from their Automotive Tech and Automotive Mechanics programs to 11th and 12th grade Dodgeville High School students!  


Classes will start in the fall of 2020 and are held on Wednesday evenings.  

You can receive dual credit at SWTC and DHS for successfully completing these courses.

A tour will be available on Monday, February 24th for any interested student.  

If you would like to sign up for the tour and learn more about the program, please in the DHS Counseling office by Friday, February 21, 2020.

All Musical Participants (cast, crew, & pit) that would like the chance to see the Musical Wicked should see Mr Ramthun or Mr Schenkel to pick up a field trip permission slip.  Details are on the permission slip. Questions see either of them.

FFA is hosting their annual share day with Culvers. Come support our Dodgeville High School FFA Chapter by purchasing a butterburger or custard on Tuesday, February 25th.

Mrs. Perry and Ms Mumm have put together stations in the LMC to write cards of thanks, encouragement, or just to say "Hi" to our 2018 and 2019 graduates who have enlisted in a branch of the military;  Ben Johnson (National Guard), Tariq Touir (National Guard), Jarek Hlavak (National Guard), JJ Thompson (Navy) and Josh Jacobsen (Air Force).

Interested in taking college courses or earning your CNA in the fall semester of 2020? If so, applications are available in the DHS Counseling Center and are due back before March 1st. NO LATE APPLICATIONS will be accepted.

Seniors - Stop in the main office to check the spelling of your name for diplomas - If you don’t know please check with parents on the CORRECT SPELLING OF YOUR FULL LEGAL NAME as it appears on your birth certificate. **************************************************************************************************************************

Students interested in the Spring Trap Shooting Team are to stop in the main office to pick up the new information packet.  There will also be a Hunters Safety Class Offered on Saturday, March 21st. Details for the class are also in the information packet in the spinner on the counter.

The library will be having it's Books n' Beans coffee bar on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Fresh brewed coffee will be available before school and during passing times. $1 or $.50 if you bring your own cup.

VAC  members, Regional is Feb. 21st at UW- Platteville. It is mandatory that you come to at least one work day each week, for the next 3 weeks to work on your projects, write your explanation cards, and study the artists. Please plan your schedules accordingly.
