Extended School Closure Updates

Extended School Closure Updates

CLOSURE UPDATE: OCTOBER 29, 2020

Due to the rising number of positive COVID-19 cases, it is in the best interest of  student and staff health and safety to pivot to a full-virtual instructional model in grades ELP-12. Starting October 29th and going through November 30th in-person students will receive their instruction virtually.  We will continue to monitor the indicators during this time and make a determination if it is safe to resume school on December 1st.

The closure affects all school programming, including before and after school activities, all athletic and extracurricular practices and competitions (as of November 1st), and all weekend events.

District teachers and staff have been preparing virtual learning plans for our students. Teachers will be providing more information on Google Classroom pages or via email/ClassTag. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s building principal. We highly encourage students and families to follow proper protocol to help reduce the spread of this virus so that we have the best chance to return to school on December 1st.

BREAKFAST/LUNCH: Please complete this survey for learners in your household who would like breakfast/lunch during our virtual days.  Specific questions can be directed to Chris Lindner at [email protected]
